We are pleased to announce an update release for DataFlex DataPump.

Today's update focusses on PostgreSQL as target database and with this extending the target databases that can be used with DataFlex DataPump.

Updated features since the initial release of 21.0 are:
  • Additional Connection string options configuration option available
  • SQL Schema name support added
  • Temp folders now configurable
  • Allow multiple data folders as source folders, good for environments with shared tables
  • Selection of tables to convert with a licensed version

Version 21.x is a 64-bit product which supports Unicode in the destination database. With DataFlex DataPump a system running on the embedded DataFlex database can now give third-party tools and applications access to its data, for example, via a business intelligence tool like Dynamic AI or Excel.

DataFlex DataPump is the tool to routinely migrate embedded DataFlex data to an SQL Server. Currently supported are Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL. The tool is designed to provide optimum performance. Easily schedule to refresh the data every day, or as frequently as needed. Read more about DataFlex DataPump’s advantages.
