@Garet and Starzen - I set all the constrains in the DDs and used Clear_Retain_Parents in one of the tables. Almost all tables worked except one.

I just removed the relationship from the DD and will set it thru code in the only view that is being used for this table.

@Samuel - I didn't want to go down that route because i have a lot of tables and a lot of fields. I wanted to ensure that if I add a field in both of the tables I would not need to go through these functions to add code to copy the contents of the fields.
