We are slowly moving our clients across to MSSQL. "Slowly" being the operative word.

We have started with the Express version under 18.2. On one particular site, it was noted that some months after conversion from the native tables, the 10 gig limit was reached, having jumped from 6 or 7 gig to over 10 gig overnight. This naturally caused performance issues. The jump cannot be related to stored data, as it is physically impossible to jump by such a large increment virtually overnight. So, was this an automated action taken by the SQL Manager to dynamically add free space, to handle anticipated growth?
