    Default what does this mean?

I'm getting it in the latest DF20, in a view entirely created by the Wizard, of the kind with an RDS report, and an imbeddedcd \da report viewer

    ---------------------------
    Error
    ---------------------------
DataFlex Reports error. The report COM object for (object='oMain.oClientArea.oFudge.oDRTabDialog.oRe sultsTabPage.oReport') is not created
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

it's not an installation thing because other reports work.

    Michael,

The CreateComObject method of the cDRReport object wasn't called or failed. Since the object is on a tab-page I guess you are sending a message to the object before the tab-page got activated and created the cDRReport object.

If you can make an example I probably can comment more in dept.

    Created HDE 8071.

This is a huge problem for me, because this code works in 19.1, but not in DF2, and i have a demo this morning.

    Michael,

As I replied via HDE thanks for the input and I've found the problem and gave you a workaround.
