    Default Daylight saving

    Hi

Is there anyway that I can find out if daylight savings is in effect in my timezone for windows applications?

    Regards

Yes. The only way I know of is to call Win32 API from VDF to get that info.

    Gordon,

The Sysconf function can return the number of seconds west of the meridian (https://docs.dataaccess.com/dataflex...f_function.htm). That is not the same as daylight saving time.

I do have an unpublished datetime library and this contains a daylight saving information function (see screenshot).

Will that library be published at some time or is it remaining private?

    Todd,

It is certainly my intention but need to find time to finish and document.
