    Default Crystal XI and Windows 10

    I have a problem now that I (finally) upgraded to Windows 10 on my development PC.

    the Crystal XI studio runs and opens my reports, but most modifications to an existing or new report result in a GPF. Has anyone else seen this?

    details: this causes a GPF on my development PC and also my laptop, both Windows 10;
    Create and drop a textbox into the report (or) modify an existing textbox i.e. change "Run Date" to "Report Date"

    (wishing I had not deleted my old OS data when I upgraded to Windows 10) - can't roll it back

    Hi Peter,

    I have the same experiance here. I ended up using a virtual machine. It's a bit annoying.

    Well, I came to the same conclusion and just figured out how to get a Windows7 ICO and install it on my VM - thanks for the reply

    Peter,

    Migration to DataFlex Reports is a better option. Crystal XI is now over 10 years old and long time not supported by the vendor.

    Peter:
    We are still using CRW XI with our setup and running Windows 10 without any issues.
