    Is there a like-for-like substitution for the crypt or ccrypt packages within this expanded range of functions?
    test? it compiles doesn't it?

    Have you looked at cCryptographer.pkg and CryptographerConstants.pkg?

    not closely enough, obviously. If they are functionally equivalent I'm all over it.
