In the Studio, the SQL connection manager exists, and it is a useful tool.

Has anyone built a similar tool for end-user / runtime use?

I'm making an odd "parent company" app for a client who has several remote instances, and they want to have a single app on the server at head office, where they can pick and choose which 'subsidiary' database they want to connect to?

I'm a very firm believer in never starting from scratch, or re-inventing wheels.
