I thought these were cute when I first saw them, but since finishing chemo and getting reduced control of my hands they are a PITA as I move them by accident all the time. Is it possible to make them lockable?

Hi Dave
I asked this question in the past and was told no. However, it can be done in the Active X version by setting several properties (can’t remember which ones of the top of my head). The only thing I can think of that would prevent DAW implementing this is a restriction / missing interface in the C library version.

Even though I have no excuse (other than being born ) - I've managed to mess them up & the only way I've found to get 'em back is to reinstall DF. I'd love to know a better way!

Garret - have you tried: Menu --> Tools --> Restore {Design Time} / {Debugging} Layout?

Hi Mike -
IIRC (it's been a while 'cause I'm now really careful) - that just restores all the docking panes, not any accidentally moved or removed buttons on the top.

my current workaround (100% successful) is calling someone else to drag them back for me....

Hi Dave,
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the treatments worked and that the hand issues are temporary.
I've logged a suggestion to make toolbars and menus lockable.
