Question Can you use the latest connectivity drivers with DF3.2?

Can you use the latest connectivity drivers with DF3.2? Or is in necessary to use the MS SQL drivers included with DF3.2 binaries?

    Hi,

yes you can use the latest.

The latest released MS SQL driver files are here: https://www.dataaccess.com/resources...ducts-list-970

Expand ‘DataFlex SQL Driver Support & Updates’ and see the section ‘How to get the latest DataFlex SQL Drivers’. Right now this is the drivers that came with 19.0. Now that we've released 19.1, we will update this with the 19.1 drivers.

Edit: Just thinking about this reply, and while it refers to the technical aspect of using current drivers with DataFlex 3.2, licensing is also a factor. To use the current DataFlex SQL drivers with 3.2, you will need a Connectivity Kit license with a current subscription.”

Thank Dennis. What files from the connectivity kit do I copy into the DF32 BIN folder? In other words, how do I incorporate the new kit into an older DF32 install?

There's a link to a readme file on the same page that explains this.

I am getting a registration error with the eval license. I have 19 on the same machine so it may be interfering with the licence. I will try on a clean machine.
