    Post Froala and DR

    Hi All!

In our web application we use Froala editor to edit contracts and then print with DR. The output of Froala is HTML, but DR cannot interpret the HTML format, so we have to
    encode the HTML to rtf.
The user would like to copy and paste the text from a Word document with the justified style. We were able to reach a certain level, but the formatting is not always interpreted by the DR RTF form.
Someone have ever had such a problem? Could someone help us?

    Hi Andras,

DataFlex Reports itself does not offer justified text as the underlying Windows control does not offer this. When it comes to RTF DataFlex Reports use the Microsoft RTF engine and relies on this formatting.

Note that RTF itself has no future as many apps go to web. We will support HTML (in a limited form) in one of the upcoming releases.

    Hi Vincent,

thanks for your answer. I know, that the rtf format is obsolate, but we want a simple solution for the Customer (which is - of course - complicated for us). Customer edit the text in Froala, then we add the necessary data from the database and print with DR. What do I mean by limited form?
