Hi everyone

I am new here, and posting due to Google pointing me to this forum for alot of what I seem to be cirrecurr having issues with. Seems people here are familiar with FlexODBC.

I am looking for support, I just upgraded a client's computer from Windows XP to windows 7 for secirity etc.

The old computer had FlexODBC installed version 2.0

They have a Access document called reports. Which I think links to their accounting software.
I don't know alot about databases so this is new to me.

I so far have seen the odbc tool in windows had a setup where the access file can link to a network path where accounting services folder is stored.

So now the new pc without the FlexODBC software the access file cannot open!

I contacted the team at FlexODBC and v.4 licence is like $490!
My client most likely won't want to pay that.

Does anyone here know how to copy the odbc driver from an old computer to a new windows 7 machine?
Or is there an alternative driver we could use that's more wallet friendly?

I honestly don't know anything on database creation so if we used a different driver it would basically want to work exactly the same as the current odbc that was setup before.

I hope this makes sense.
Thanks
Shaun.
