    Default Disappearing labels in VDFQuery

Since many years I have included VDFQuery in my program and i have found it very useful. Now, however, the labels of some of the fields in VDFQuery nearly disappear when the program is run in the directory where it is compiled, but they are visable when the program is moved to other directories. I thought it had something with the manifest file to do, but it doesn't seems to. Do anyone know what makes the labels disppear?

By the way, it is a pity that Sture doesn't improve VDFQuery any more. Just a few improvements, such as making it possible to write to real Excel xlsx-files, would make it much more usable.

In those objects, look for code referring to Typeface of MS San Serif and/or Font Height or size (i don't recall off hand). When you find it, comment out those lines and run again. See if that brings the text back to a normal size.

Please remember that Sture donated VDFQuery to all of us. He is certainly open to people adding features/fixes - so I think you could feel free to add any - like writing to Excel.

    Hi Bengt

It seems as I had mixed the versions in some way. I used VdfQuery.utl ver 2.4d, but now I found a verison 2.5 Beta in the file vdfq24f.zip. Is that the latest version? Now it looks nice with Winprint, but I cannot get it working with VPE and matthewds vpe71prnt. Then program compiles but hangs without error message when it is time for printing somehing on the screen.

I tried to make some changes a while ago but gave it up. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with that type of code. It must be have been written in one of the first vdf versions.

It took a little work to get VDFQuery and VPE71 to play nice together. I think I did need to modify a few lines in VDFQuery. If you can find out where it is hanging I might have some ideas. See if you can pause execution in the debugger and maybe put some breakpoints in to step through the code that seems to be hanging.
