I use the same method as Todd.
    It works.
No problem deleting the .EXE from Windows Explorer.

I am having the same issue with Windows Desktop App. But when I go to the Windows Explorer to delete it will not allow me to and the EXE has a size of Zero. When I reboot and then it lets me delete. Until this morning.

Had same problem. It was caused by McAfee AV. Uninstalled that and loaded Kaspersky Free and all is well now.

Thanks Chuck. I didn't uninstall yet but turned of Real Time Scanning and that seems to have resolved the issue.

    Hi Chuck
Just wanted to say thanks for the reply.
I had the same situation, tried your solution and it worked nicely.
MUCH better than restarting the service.
