    Default VDF 19.0 first looks

Stephen & John gave a very good webinar this morning on some of the upcoming features in 19.0

I made very poor notes, but my take-aways were

    * DFCONNECTIONID has been totally improved, and much better integrated with the studio & base tools.
    * The Studio is now WAY more SQL DB aware, with better handling of indexes locally, on the server, and both.
    * Changing backends on the fly is now MUCH easier, in code at runtime. Handy for having separate DB instances or each client,

    * More new web controls (ColorPicker, Floating Menu, Collapsible Cards.
    * More Better IIS7 integration, with a 64bit server / server side controls.
    * Server Side Web Properties (allow persistence of properties within page or session and without sending them all the way back to the client every time).
    * New Command Line tools to manage (install, create, delete, start, stop) webapps, including the ability to not install under the Default site. Yay! Installation scripts.

    * New alternative to MDI --> TDI , not Turbo Diesel but Tabbed Display Interface, with built in docking and screen splitting (horizontal or vertical)
    * Better Icon Handling in response to Widows Scaling, will now pick appropriate Icon Size for toolbars & menus.
    * whole new set of Multi Dimension Icons (16X16, 24*24 32*32) in a whole new "flat" design set.

    * There is a json Parser built right in to the runtime.

Alpha 1 is due Decemberish, More details in presentations in Brisbane next month a DAPCON.
