At the start of my programs I have the line

#replace C_$CompileDate |CS'2015.04.12'

which I use in a couple of places, labels, about etc ..
I prefer it to version number.

Some of the time I remember to update it if I am releasing a new version. Most of the time not.

I am aware of the built-in version number stuff and the tip about using the program.exe file date but that date is not always what I want. (ftp transfers ...)

Just checking to see if maybe something has been added to the language that has slipped past my eagle eye that will do what I want - is there a constant set at compile time that is the CompileDate?
