Training: Introduction to Visual DataFlex Windows Development

Description: The class will cover basic language concepts, explore the development studio, and design and build multi-table multi-user applications. Please note this class will not address web development. Specific topics covered include:
- The Visual DataFlex object oriented language/class library
- Creating and defining tables
- Creating and defining table business rules, validations, lookups, and custom code
- Developing MDI applications (multiple views in one application)
- How to reuse components (lookup lists, business rules, etc.)
- Reporting
- Debugging applications
- Deployment discussion
Target audience: The Introduction to Visual DataFlex Windows Development class is designed for programmers new to the DataFlex/Visual DataFlex environment. Existing DataFlex/Visual DataFlex knowledge is not a requirement, but some level of programming background is.
Cost:
- $1,200 USD/student

Cost includes three days of training, and breakfast and lunch during the training days. Accommodations are not included in the cost of the training. Students will need to supply their own laptop with Visual DataFlex 17.0 installed.
