On behalf of Antwise Solutions I can now present to you the SeawaxLog product to enhance your webapps and webservices. With this product troubleshooting your deployed applications becomes a lot easier.

Having developed webapps for many years showed that the existing method to troubleshoot problems for a deployed webapp is cumbersome.
You cannot debug a live webapp as there is no remote debugging capability in the webapp product, nor can you rely that your users will provide feedback on every error they see.

In the rare case when a user does report a problem, you then first have to figure out what the problem is and how to reproduce it.
End users rarely are technical enough to provide you with all the details you would need.

Because of this, troubleshooting webapps becomes very time intensive.

This is where SeawaxLog can help you out, some of the features are:

  1. Whenever a runtime error happens, it will log all details -including things like a stack trace- to a data file.
  2. Application 'actions' can be logged with date and time. An action is a developer defined specific state in your application logic, for example "user logged in", or "user started ordering process". You can add as many actions as you want.
  3. All Access can be logged with the details you need. If a runtime error happened on monday at 2.03am, you can trace back what pages the user visited before the error was triggered and what parameters they passed.
  4. There's a mechanism to add things like "logged in" state and the user ID to your events. You can filter on this while inspecting the logs
  5. Modular setup so that you can easily add customized details to the logs specific for your application

You can even setup an application to have you send an email when a critical error happens.
So when the user contacts you for a complaint about a bug, you already have a detailed report about this in your inbox!
