Hi all

Having a few problems putting images on web pages. More specfically "editing" them.

Lets say you have an image in the Files section of the studio and you place this on the page.

You then see it does not look quite right and you need to tweak it in photoshop. Once you have done this lets say the image was 100x100 and is now 80x80.

You upload the 'edited' picture using the studio and overwrite the original

You delete the image from the page and re-insert it again

However the dimentions of the image inserted back into the page are still 100x100 and the preview still shows the old image

It's as though either the details of the original image or the original image itself are being cached somewhere and because the image has the same name it is not being refreshed by the studio ?

Currently the only way around this is instead of overwriting the image in the Files section you need to delete it first and then upload it.

Just to be clear i'm not talking about the user visitng the site caching problems i'm talking about problems in the studio.

The other odd thing is the thumbnail of the overwritten image in the files view shows the correct image/size so we have to assume th overwrite worked. But the one you see in the dialog in the FCK editor is still the old one ? not quite sure how it manages to hold onto this ... but it is ! You can end up in the situation where the Fiels section and the real web site are showing you the correct image and the FCK editor it not ... even when you re-edit the page

Anyone else seen similar to this ?

Thanks
