Hi,

We're looking to track changes to certain tables in the our database. I'd like
to ask developers what approaches you may taken using either the embedded
database or an alternate database.

For example is it easier to:

- create an alias table and log a copy of the record before the changes takes
place?

or

- log just the difference in a more generic format such as the table, who, time
stamp and a list of columns and the before data?

MYTABLE
JOE
14-SEP-08 14:00
LAST_NAME:"FRED'S", PRICE:12.56, AMT:892.00

or

- something completely different?
