Hi -

The subject pretty much says it all, doesn't it? What kind of idiot would
even try? Me, I guess. Nobody ever said I was *too* smart.

I have just tried my first 2.3 setup on Vista. Actually it's an XP network,
but this workstation is Vista Home Premium.

The program (located on the XP server) runs fine on the vista machine. I've
set up their local Oki DM printer to be shared, run Net Use lpt1:
\\name\printer /persistent:yes & can print from a cmd window (dir>lpt1 spews
a ton of stuff).

However, when I print from the app (which uses "Direct_Output LPT1", not
"PRN"), I get the good old "device not ready, abort, retry, ignore, fail"
message.

Anyone have any ideas? No, VDF is not an option....;-)

Thanks!
