  1. Re: Make sure cache is cleared on new version of webapp

    Hi Vincent
The MD5 represents the hash of the file, so when it does not change, or is changed back, you still have optimised caching - always...

Guid is just a random ID and wonít give you any of...
  2. Re: Make sure cache is cleared on new version of webapp

    Sure.

Create a batch file called md5.bat and amend the paths if required

    @ECHO OFF
    #SETLOCAL EnableExtensions
    for /f %%G in ("%~1") do set "_len=%%~zG"
    if %_len% EQU 0 (
    echo MD5 hash...

    Re: DF 2020 Studio start

    Hi all

I can confirm, the Studio has no issues with the Aussie Lingo.

    Cheers

  4. Re: Make sure cache is cleared on new version of webapp

I use a hash of the file instead of a version number, this is much more version control friendly.

    Re: Dataflex not installed

    Hi Geraldine
Could it be that you did not restart between the uninstall and reinstall?
If this could be the case do:
    1. Uninstall
    2. Restart
    3. Install

    Re: FlexCOM: Import ActiveX Control

    Hi focus
Iím less worried about the size of the exe, than the excessive compile time.
I know it could and should be pre-compiled but still, itís just a lot of unnecessary code.

    Re: LibXL - Some questions

We use another technology (softartisans excelwriter), where writing a null has the desired effect.
    Is that possible in LibXL?

    Re: Probably a stupid idea

Version control is good, but sometimes you are not ready to save yet.
It would be great to see and jump to the line number of the last 10 changes lines in the current source file.

    Re: OT: Installing samples

I do a git init/add/commit straight after installation.
As I often play with the ord entry to find/debug issues.

Sleep used to consume CPU. Not sure if stil the case.
But if 15 min, use the cTimer or even better imho, the windows scheduler and abort on each completed run.
