    CodeJock will not register.

On a new installation all goes well until I try to register CodeJock. Instead of 'Succeeded' appearing multiple times nothing happens. This is a 'mature' setup which has been done many times (VDF 17)...

    Re: Recovering from SQL crash

    Thanks all.
The SQL server is not within my control so why it crashes (admittedly very occasionally) I know not. What I do know is that do is that to get everyone restarted they have to run round...

    Recovering from SQL crash

I have a client with 30 users whose SQL server sometimes crashes. When the server is restarted much time is lost finding out who has files locked. Is there a quick way to clear these?

Kind regards from a very blowy Scotland.

    Ian,

Greetings from Glasgow. Good to know you are busy - that will keep you out of mischief.

I have a dbCJ grid. Client wishes to have line colour change when tick-box is ticked. (Doesn't have...

    Downloading the sigCJ report control

I'm trying to download the sigCJ report control to access pbShadeRow for use with VDf17.

Is there a "plain English" instruction which would help? What I'm currently looking at is far too...
  13. CodeJock Grid Buttons - buried in older post

(I suspect I should have started a new post but initially posted this somewhat 'buried' in an old one - sorry!)

    Ivan Schoof,

Once again your cCJGridColumnButton code has saved the day. I wonder...

Re: Centering buttons in CodeJock Grid Column

    Ivan,

Once again your cCJGridColumnButton code has saved the day. I wonder if there is a way by which the colour of the button can be changed after it has been pressed.

  15. Start CodeJock Grid at specific record.

After saving a record in a CodeJock Grid is there a way to 'tell' the grid where to restart from? (In other words seed the index). Not at the top but at a specific record.

    Kind regards,

    Sandy.
  16. Re: Where is the "Language Reference's obsolete section" ?

    Sture,

Thanks - I'll look at that.

We can't all be intellectual programmers - some of us have to make do with what we have! I'm well aware of the strengths of DF having used little else since...
  17. Re: Where is the "Language Reference's obsolete section" ?

    Dennis,

I was specifically referring to the 'Help' system supplied with DF18.2. Do you have plans to replace this with something a bit smarter?

The forum may not be perfect but without it I...

Well it certainly makes more sense than I did looking at the code and muttering "what's this all about?".

I'm upgrading a large project which reaches back into the mists...

    Michael,

That worked perfectly. I can't pretend to understand it but the functions are now tucked away!

  22. Placement of Procedure in cDbCJGridColumn

    Re: FieldIndex ??

    Sture,

Thanks. I know not how we would manage without this forum. Perhaps DAC would have had to provide more documentation!

I will recode using your example.
