    Re: Uncompress GZipStream

    Hi Peter,

I think you have to use ComUnCompressStringEnc, because the compressed string is probably base64 encoded.

    CAPSLOCK/NUMLOCK state not working.

    Hi,

With the codejock statusbar, you can use a special statusbarpane for "Capslockstatus" and "NumlockStatus".

In Dataflex 19.1 with Codejock 18.3 this is not working (pane is always empty). ...

  6. Re: Can we have a Folder selector dialog for Next Gen?

    +1

Ever looked at the codejock file/folder selector? Very nice. We use that one (I guess the studio is using that one too).
Maybe something for DataAccess to make default.

    Re: cwebhttphandler support for XML/HL7

    Hi Harm,

Sorry was wrong about the coding. The uchar in fact is UTF-8. But we had issues saving it to the SQL database with Set_file_field_Value in an XML field. (MSSQL database).

    Re: cwebhttphandler support for XML/HL7

Thanks Marco, that one i knew.
You can do Get LoadXMLFromAddress of hoXML (AddresOf (uChar)) to bOK.

But that goes wrong with translation of UTF-8 to OEM. The uChar is OEM and not UTF-8. Tried...

    cwebhttphandler support for XML/HL7

The new cWebHttpHandler is great. I'm very happy with it.

For our HL7 webservices I transformed the old index.asp to the new WebHttphandler and it works great.
I also found out it has a great...

    Re: UPX compression and DF19.1

Thanks for the reply. We always used the following option: Upx -9 --compress-resources=0 executable.
Without the Compress-resources flag compression rate is how it used to be.

    UPX compression and DF19.1

We used to compress our execatables with UPX. In the past this has proven to prevent sharing errors at servers. (all executables are started from a share, not from a local disk).

I would first try to delete or rename the old webapp.exe. Probably the file is in use an can't be overwritten.

  20. Re: cProcessStatusPanel / Check_StatusPanel (consumes a lot of time) PumpMsgQueue?

Based on the reaction of Michael I tested the application without skin on 3480x2160 and an other skin. Of course the appearance of the progressbar then changes again.

I know now that this "delay"...
  21. Re: cProcessStatusPanel / Check_StatusPanel (consumes a lot of time) PumpMsgQueue?

All three progress bar styles are different. 1920x1080 has a fade at the and, 2560x1440 does not have a fade (solid color). 3840x2160 has stripes.

  23. Re: cProcessStatusPanel / Check_StatusPanel (consumes a lot of time) PumpMsgQueue?

OK. After some more testing, I finally found the problem for the delay. Believe it or not, it's the screen resolution. I have an 24inch UHD monitor, with standard on a resolution of 3840x2160 scaling...
  24. Re: cProcessStatusPanel / Check_StatusPanel (consumes a lot of time) PumpMsgQueue?

RC1 was a major improvement for this issue. Don't know what has changed, but the delay is a lot less.
Still not as fast as 19.0, but definitely much better.
  25. Re: cProcessStatusPanel / Check_StatusPanel (consumes a lot of time) PumpMsgQueue?

I will look further into this subject with Arnold Franken from DataAccess Europe. What I know till now, looks very strange, but is true. I did a little change in our standard status panel.
