    Re: recursively use

    There you are:

Function MultiplyAll Integer iVal Returns integer
    If (iVal=0) Begin

    End
    Function_Return (iVal * MultiplyAll(Self,iVal-1) ) // <-Recursive...

    Hi Chris,

It appears that there is a problem with either the "default view" or with the login panel.

  5. Re: Not sure if this is new (or indeed real )

However, "For" is a command and should be capitalized. And by default, the Studio wants it to be.

But regularly it switches into a mode where it becomes "for" instead.

I've seen that on occasion since forever.

The trick is to leave it be :-)

    Hi Bob,

No, it's the other way around like Samuel says.

Anyway, sometimes it's not possible to add joined tables to the select directly.

When you are using psSqlFilter to limit the records...

Re: OT: SQL syntax (IIF function)

CASE statements and IIF statements are syntactical variations of the same thing. Case statements have the same limitation.

What bugs me is that nowhere can I find specific mention of that fact

    OT: SQL syntax (IIF function)

    hi guys,

I just need to get it out. It's about SQL syntax.

Where on the internet does it say that you can not use expressions with the IIF function?

    IIF( boolean_expression, true_value,...

They would just be nested arrays, I guess.

    I couldn't say what's causing it.

    Re: Help error

    Hi Mike,

It's not "any complex data" that is the problem. DataFlex handles struct and arrays for web-properties just fine.

It's just 2-dim values that seems to be a problem.

    Re: Help error

    Hi Dennis,

Yes I have. And note that the articel says that structs and arrays can not be used for webproperties at all, which obviously they can.

    Re: Suggestion: Tagsform delimiter

    Yes,

This is not about how the data is displayed. It's about how it is stored.

As it is, comma is used to seperate the items which means that comma can not be part of the values.

    If comma...

    Re: Suggestion: Tagsform delimiter

    Hi Frank,

If anything, that would be a DF_FIELD_ -type of setting. Not something you set across the entire appilication or based on anything the machine environment should have a say in.

    Hi Dave,

I use that a lot. Particularly in libraries, not so much in app workspaces. It is great for grouping sets of packages into functional groups and avoiding clutter.
