    For Windows applications the "cloud" is just a remote computer (server or workstation). It's still Windows.

    Next month Microsoft is pushing out the new Chromium based Edge Browser as part of Windows Update. IE is truly DOA.

    The only valid reason I see to have 32 bit apps currently is if there are dependencies that force you (32 bit drivers etc). Or perhaps you have some embedded app that needs to run on Windows XP.
