Re: Studio does not respect font sizes

    Luca,

Did you check in your .src that you are using Windows fonts? My 19.1 defaults to that.

The 8 pages all about DataFlex fonts and Windows fonts in the Help system say that...

Re: Studio does not respect font sizes

    Luca,

I spent more time trying to make "Set FontPointHeight to 16" work than I care to reveal on this forum!

Eventually, I abandoned that and used "Form_FontPointHeight" and it worked...

Re: Studio does not respect font sizes

OK, The "How to Use Fonts in DataFlex" says:

Item 5 - If you want the control to resize based on the font, use the font interface (e.g. FontWeight).

FontWeight is Normal or Bold. How does this...

Re: Studio does not respect font sizes

    Garret,

Thanks - no , I've looked at this and it's not checked.

The inability of the designer to 'see' these is not a major problem compared with the aggro of mini-grids, which your code has...

Studio does not respect font sizes

I am getting to grips with using different font sizes in 19.1.

It seems that "Set pbUseWindowsFont to True" is the default and does not require to be explicitly declared.
    In a dbform, "Set...

    Re: cDbCJGrid - font size

    Garret,

    Thanks, I'll try that.

Is there any reason for the font size to be missing from the properties? That would seem to be the logical place to find it.

    Kind regards from Scotland,

    cDbCJGrid - font size

I'm using 19.1 and looking at the new Windows font sizes. How they can be applied to a cDbCJGrid? I can't see anything in Object Properties.

    Advice would be appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Sandy.

    Michael,

Thanks. This is where I'm at.

Yes, that's only there to show what's intended. The rest of this application is updating a System File and all is well there.

Re: Attempt to create in a protected table.

    Mike,

I removed all references to the Log DD - same error! The 'A' DD know nothing about Log - it's pure code as from days of yore.

    Kind regards,

    Sandy.

Attempt to create in a protected table.

For those of old enough to remember the pleasure of using the much derided DOS style code, coupled with the 2E Macros, using the 'new' stuff with a mixture of old and new can be a proper pain. I have...

    Re: Supporting multiple resolutions

    Thanks.

I did have a look at the MS stuff on Manifest files but suspect that it may be a steep hill to climb. Various developers are suggesting 19.1 rather than 18.2 so I will look at...

    Marco,

    Thanks.

I'll try 19.1 and see how that works. My client intends to drop off a Surface Pro shortly to let me see what views look like.

    Your help appreciated.
