    Re: Invalid TLV Record

    Re: Invalid TLV Record

I had the issue with Windows 10 (desktops). However, Server 2019 is a lot of years after XI came out. Have you always had this issue on the OS - or is it new?

    Re: Invalid TLV Record

Before someone comes along telling you that XI is hopelessly outdated, I'll toss out a thought. I have a customer that uses it & while they don't use TTX files, Windows Updates caused many users to...

Re: AutoIncrement - How to reset it?

There is in every one of my systems. I found the "Save the header when you save the first child" logic to be extremely unreliable when it first came out (18.0?). A system went live & user A's lines...

Nope - it's set on all workspaces. Good thought though.

    I'll try Michael's suggestion when I get a chance.

    Re: Table Explorer

Not only no difference, but this system has 2 Development workspaces. In one they show the SQL info, in the other they don't. The INT files are identical (copied).

    Table Explorer

DF 19.0 MySQL DB, Mertech Driver

Hi - I realize it could be something driver specific, but I'm confused. Some tables show the SQL type as well as the DF type, while others show the DF type only....

Rotterdam to Amsterdam in 10 minutes

A brief timeout during these crazy times:

A 5 story tall barge being towed though various canals with a camera mounted on top. Hugely time compressed!

I enjoyed the scenery as it traveled...

If they had TShirts for this, I'd have one. Thanks Chuck!

  18. Re: Missing documentation and examples Embedded SQL

If you need special ordering that can't be done by DF indexes, maybe create a SQL view & use that? Only problem is that it's not updatable - but they can be added to the filelist..
  19. Re: Missing documentation and examples Embedded SQL

But not an an SQL filter in OnConstrain..All it can have using your example & AFAIK is "State = 'NY'"
  20. Re: Missing documentation and examples Embedded SQL

    Hi Roel -

The filter is the "Where" clause only (without the word "where") - not ordering. That still has to be done via indexes.

  23. Re: Change width (function / field) dynamically (Dataflex code - cDRReport)

  24. Re: Clickable URL's in PDF's generated from Dataflex Reports.

Text fields (& therefore exporting of them) in DR need a lot of work. They should act as RTF: partial formatting (bold on some words, underline on others, etc.) & - as you say - links. Wordwrap...
