    Re: ws files additional parameters

Cool, thanks. I may have a go at that then. We keep a lot of odd paths in a system file but it's a PITA to maintain.

    ws files additional parameters

I suggested a few weeks ago that making it possible to separate the various outputs from the Studio compile into separate folders might be useful. Those of course would be DAW additions to the .ws...

    Re: Dfbtrdrv.int

now that I know what caused it I can possibly identify how we missed it. Just one of our Pervasive tables lived in the first folder on the path, which was how we managed multi-tenancy back in the...

    EUREKA!

Copy Data and executables and .ws
    Remove CCH files
Edit .ws to have new Home= line
    Success

CCH files were the issue. I can't see how we missed this, but over the years we've had 4 or...

    Re: Microsoft Dataflex

good article and just the facts.

Tried to add a comment pointing out that DAW are half of the first page links on a Bing or Google Search for 'Dataflex' but Edge won't allow popups. Funny, that......

    Re: Dfbtrdrv.int

early thought (well it's almost lunchtime but you know what I mean...)

it's the CCH files, isn't it? They contain the full path to the INT and BTR files.

Not sure I ever deleted them...

    Re: (web) OnSetDisplayMetrics (?)

My way would have been to use a hidden column for the db-bound version then a regular visible column to hold the

    Re: Dfbtrdrv.int

certainly last time we tried the results were as I said. I've a vague recollection that on an early attempt we found full paths in some files as listed in the DDF.

i'm going to work through it...

    Re: Dfbtrdrv.int

Thanks Jim. That's always possible. My next project is narrowing this down. As I said I look at it every 5 years or so but I've reasons to move to MSSQL now so may put a little more effort into it....

This post is all about creating a test Pervasive Database, which about every 5 years we attempt and then revert to using test data within the production database. The auditors never notice....
