  1. Re: modifying the delimiter for a .txt file

What you can do is in your stored procedure, first extract the data you want to put into the text file into a MSSQL temp table, clean up the commas in that table by replacing them with "", a space or...

    Re: cTextEdit/cDBTextEdit bug

I just ran into this bug and the funny thing is that enabled_state seems to work when the cTextEdit object is in a modal dialog. I haven't tested this anywhere but in my application though.

    More Postgres grief

DF-19.0, Mertech driver. I wish DF played more nicely when modifying SQL tables that don't allow for inserts. Postgres is one of those databases that only allows appending new columns, no inserts...

    Re: Recovering from SQL crash

No locks should be in place after a crash but more to the point, why would the SQL server be crashing even sometimes? That should be an exceedingly rare occurrence...

    Re: Logging Report Usage

    Hi Dave,
I recently did a full report "Telemetry" project for a customer which sounds a bit beyond what you want. It logged the date run, start & stop times, total run time, workstation run from,...

Re: SelStart in a Text Field

It turns out that I was right, SelStart counts CRLF characters but getting line lengths using LineLength does not include them so trying to compare a total of line lengths to Selstart might not work...

Re: SelStart in a Text Field

    Hi Wil,
Thanks for reminding me about that. Back in the day you could even Get Value Item x and get just the one line value from an edit object but that doesn't work for the cTextEdit object....

Re: SelStart in a Text Field

Thanks for the reply. Using DF-19.0. I tried converting the CR/LF to a string to see if it's in the line, or if the Pos function can find it there but no go. I also tried both 13 & 10 alone, no joy

    SelStart in a Text Field
