  1. Re: How to make the menu displayed via the cWebMenuItemLoadView command wider

    Hi Yasa,

Here's an example on how you can make the view menu in the order entry example wider.

In webapp.src add the psHtmlId line like this:

    Re: Embedded DF with VSS

There's no way that DAW is going to add a layer to quiesce the data, flush the file system buffers and freeze it all to the file system the moment that the VSS provider asks for it.

Re: The surprising logic of a splitter container

    Thanks Vincent.

    Yes, not new at all.
This has been an issue for as long as I can remember, I see the same logic also in VDF15.0 for example.

However I never tracked down why this was...

The surprising logic of a splitter container

    Hi,

The code below is in the latest DataFlex 20 (applies to all earlier versions too)

I don't know if you have ever played with a splitter container and the sizes didn't add up?

    For example...

Re: Source Control Repositories and Libraries

    Peter,

For workspaces and their libraries I tend to keep the library local to the workspace.
Usually even grouped under a main subfolder called "Libraries" ;)

That also gives me a mechanism to...

    Anders,

Ugh.. I guess they never use the dispatch interface and as such did not actually realize the damage done.

    Re: Chilkat 32bit and 64bit

    I think so.
With versions I would not mix & match, especially not as the 64 bit version is doing something weird there with the -x64 version of the DLL taking over the 32 bit registry settings for...

    Re: Chilkat 32bit and 64bit

Step 5 still works for me.

FWIW, unregistering the 64 bit DLL will unregister 32 bit as well.
Registering the 64 bit does overtake the 32 bit, but -at least for me- it continues to work.

    And...

    Re: Chilkat 32bit and 64bit

    Hi,

It's possible what WWGT says, but there are not a lot of reasons for an ActiveX developer to have a different dispatch interface between the 32 bit and the 64 bit versions.
    I would...

    Mike,

Sure, it even says so on line 4 and 5 of FMAC and we haven't had a dfpack supplied to us in many years.

Yet you can still compile any line that's in FMAC in your own programs as well.
