    Re: cJsonPath class

Just wanted to add my thanks for this class, which I chose to use over the whole 'move all the JSON to a struct' thing because the JSON was massively over-engineered for just a few tid-bits of data.

Re: CMDEXCEL for later versions of Excel?

well I got as far as opening and closing 2, so the principle works. Thank you very much for the kick in the right direction.

Re: CMDEXCEL for later versions of Excel?

spent a couple of hours trying to convert it to Excel16. nightmare. I suspect the changes to the object model confuse things but I swear MS have renamed stuff for fun.

Re: CMDEXCEL for later versions of Excel?

yes, and it's trivial to make an xls

that's more technical than I want to get. I'm writing this but it will become the responsibility of other developers down the line.

    I would 'expect'...

that might give me a start, thank you, I will commence excavation.

Do you recall what version of Excel you based that on? The A1 interface went away in favour of 1 1, I believe.

that's what I used to do when writing as csv, but the target program won't eat them (and I don't control that part of the process) :(

Re: DataFlex Source Explorer New Build

    it did. Nice work.

It would be useful if 'Parse' were a right-click option in the editor pane, which parsed the current tab, rather than having to reopen that source. Or even a right-click option...

Re: DataFlex Source Explorer New Build

Nope, but it DOES work on a smaller project (and simpler sws?)

Here's the sws which works, a single-project workspace.

Re: DataFlex Source Explorer New Build

I'm running it stand-alone and although 'open workspace' lets me find the .sws file selecting/opening the .sws doesn't seem to have any effect.
opening an individual file works fine.
  23. Re: Anybody doing PEP scans, with Namescan, for instance?

That's what I get for looking at the help instead of really reading it.

That is so obvious now I look at it again and explains why the colon is after the token.

    and it works... thank you...

Re: cCJGrid: how to insert blank line

I've two good and bright guys, but I've never in 48 years of development met a developer who didn't have his own twist on things. I suppose that's probably an essential characteristic.
