    Hi again,

The registry entry has been located (see image) and it's not empty.

    Unwilling WebApp Administratir 20.0

Have anybody else had unwilling WebApp Admistrators in 20.0?

Two observations (on the same site):

    1.

Our client has a number of DF 19.1 WebApps running. These webapps need to run as a...

I don't know what the burden issue is.

I think you should include the relevant code.

Is it data aware? I suppose not.

Are you websetting the code or the display-value?

Re: Plato and 2FA gives lockout

    No, not at all,

I'm delighted that we can get ironed thing out. Keep on.

I guess we can limit to 14(.8) digits when the parameter is defined as numeric.

Regarding the labels. Some of the...

    Hi Wil,

This stuff is only logged (by the cSqlExec class) when executing under the debugger. Not in a live installation.

Re: Plato and 2FA gives lockout

There several developers involved in Plato. Currently I am bringing the secmod part into a workable state.

You're right in your observations. I will pass it on a the install team.

Re: Temporal tables in MS SQL

I now had a chance to investigate the site and this was a false alarm. DataFlex is not affected by adding temporality to it's tables which is as it should be.

    Turned out they'd forgotten about...

Re: Plato and 2FA gives lockout

    Hi Wil,

Yes, you need to set up a SMPT server and a message gateway to make any sense out of that.

In the shipped system we should "set peFac2Mode to C_SECMOD_FAC2_OFF" because this will make...

    Hi Will,

that's alright. One can always check back later :-). Authenticators is high on the list for after the final Plato release.

Michael, I am talking the encryption library.

The one that will accompany the next version of Plato will be one step newer than currently is the case.

Ok, I didn't know it went on the official list. Anyway, now I'm bidden by this issue again and I have to fix it now.

  19. Re: Feature request: DF_FILE_SQL_TABLE_NAME! DF_FIELD_SQL_COLUMN_NAME?

Yes, of course that is a bug. I was thinking it wasn't because I've used that attribute to generate DF source code and then it is the correct value.

So you are now in 100% support of requesting a...
  20. Re: Feature request: DF_FILE_SQL_TABLE_NAME! DF_FIELD_SQL_COLUMN_NAME?

Not necessarily a bug, I'd say.

But a DF_FIELD_SQL_COLUMN_NAME attribute is needed.

    The DF_FILE_SQL_TABLE_NAME is already there.

I can use the "FOR SYSTEM TIME" syntax for exactly the same thing. I had somehow made up my wrong mind about that syntax.

    Good talk :-)
  22. Re: Feature request: DF_FILE_SQL_TABLE_NAME! DF_FIELD_SQL_COLUMN_NAME?

    Unfortunately no.

This field name [Mistænkt måltid] (yes, there's a space in there) will be represented as "Mist_nkt_m_ltid" by DF and this is what is returned by DF_FIELD_NAME.

    And if I want...

  24. Feature request: DF_FIELD_SQL_COLUMN_NAME

Re: Temporal tables in MS SQL

btw, if it was possible to retrieve the name of the history table from DF code then one could write a generic feature to show historic changes made to a record that is currently active in a DD.
