    Re: Can't Open Tables

This has happened to me again... 3rd time.

    13077

I know I can resolve it by reducing the overall size of the "paths" of the workspace and all libraries.

  2. Re: Somewhat OT - MySQL Select Statement

FYI: This works the same in TSQL. Repeat the escape character to escape itself.
  3. Re: ProgressBar: piMaximum > 2,147,483,647 records

Ya, I am sorta surprised that I never hit this issue in the past ten years... I have made the appropriate changes. All is working well now.
  4. Re: ProgressBar: piMaximum > 2,147,483,647 records

I know who that someone is. It is me. I suppose I would still get a mild enjoyment for buying myself a beer or two for doing the task. LOL. :D
  5. Re: ProgressBar: piMaximum > 2,147,483,647 records

Beer always works wonders... And I would gladly pay it, but I would still have to travel to your location to discuss the process over a cold beer (or two, or three, etc...).

    When will you be back...
  6. Re: ProgressBar: piMaximum > 2,147,483,647 records

    So I will have to

    Save "X" to property
Divide by "x" for setting the maximum.
Test for mod "x" for sending DoAdvance
Multiply by "x" for display in the status panel.

    Am I missing anything?
  7. Re: ProgressBar: piMaximum > 2,147,483,647 records

Ya, I thought of that too... And that is the best approach, but it entails a lot code rewriting, since I still want my progress to show the actual number of items processed.

    But since I have all...
  8. ProgressBar: piMaximum > 2,147,483,647 records

Has anyone had an issue with processing more than 2.14 million items while using a progressbar?

I get an error of "Number too Large, etc..."

I see the problem being that "integer" can't hold...

    Re: SQL ERROR from DF

Left side is "functional" database, right side is "non-functional" database.

I'll see if I can capture the sql statement it is trying to execute.

    Re: SQL ERROR from DF

Well, I was surprised to see a slight difference.

    13000

But even so, I don't see how these differences could cause the error.

Re: Permissions needed for DF Folder

I would think you can do just READ/EXECUTE for the bin folder and then specifically add WRITE to just the *.dfr file inside bin. This would be slightly more secure.

I am 99.9% certain. I will verify tomorrow morning.
  14. Re: cWebView - How to know if save was successful

Recode, meaning, "to code again" :p
  15. Re: psUserName and psPassword not used by HttpGetJson from cJsonHttpTransfer

Oops, I did not see that in your code before... Eyesight is failing too. :p
  16. Re: psUserName and psPassword not used by HttpGetJson from cJsonHttpTransfer

    Try this:

    Set peTransferFlags to ifSecure
then run again and look at the headers.

IIR, this property is what determines if the username and password are included. I could be wrong; it was...

Re: Error 25: Record Not Found

I have already checked for all open files, but I did not think about checking the File Mode. I will do that. Thanks.

The callstack is of no help. The error is on "Forward Send Request_Save"

    Re: Version Control Software

I have been using Git for about 10 years now, so I am very comfortable with it.

But I agree, Wil, and my second favorite is SubVersion.
