  1. Re: Simple unconditional constraint not working

yes by design you would add the call back into every DEO that calls the lookup

the default for pbAutoServer is true and there is no need to set them back. the properties listed in the doc under...
  2. Re: Simple unconditional constraint not working

As garret posted DFs design for this is to add a callback function in the calling DEO. this allows you to change properties like this from their default (the values will be reset every time the...

    Re: oLibXL DF2021 32bits

kibxl.net.dll does not require registration. just needs to be in the same folder as szlibxl.dll
  4. Re: Simple unconditional constraint not working

or pbAutoServer in case of a CJ based list or a webapp
  5. Re: Simple unconditional constraint not working

the constraint is probably just fine

but by default a lookup uses the invoking objects server (so you inherit the invoking objects constraints etc)

you can set the auto_server_state to false to...

    Re: oLibXL DF2021 32bits

looks like you are running 64bit order entry which of course will not work with a 32bit library
  7. Re: Deterine if an SQL statement failed or returned a warning ?

the error indicator will be true
  8. Re: Error 13001 - When accessing cache file (.CCH) in DF20.1

we disabled it in MSSQLDRV.INT with Use_Cache

even if you delete the files you will have issues with 2 different drivers
  9. Re: Error 13001 - When accessing cache file (.CCH) in DF20.1

using 2 diff version drivers on the same files is often an issue.

we also had issues with CCH files getting corrupted even with only one version driver and finally opted to disable CCH files...

Re: LibXL: Can anybody explain why....

guessing STAYS.DATE_IN is a DF date?

DF dates are not compatible with excel date values

in libxl you can use datepack and dateunpack to create/read date values

Re: 64 bit questions for VPE & Chilkat

have used both without any issues

the other one we switched to 64 bit was LibXL because we ran into limits creating very large excel files and 64bit helped with that with the extra address space
  17. Re: Controlling breaks with checkbox in VPE4VDF from StarZen

    Bengt

    you have two issues here

    1) The actual break
this can simply be controlled by returning the same value all the time so there is no break

    Function BreakValue1 Returns String

    should be using parameterized queries.

this also opens the system to sql injection attacks
