Re: Thanks for the older version updates!

Hopefully you won’t need all of those drugs unless there’s some other reason for them

  5. Re: Same as ShowLn (String(variablle) in a WebApp

    Rachael,
An alternative would be to write to a log file instead of using showln. That would work for all situations, debugging or just running the webapp. And maybe add a config switch to turn it...

  8. Re: Same as ShowLn (String(variablle) in a WebApp

Showlns do work in a locally run Webapp when running in the debugger, I've used them successfully. Of course you need to remember to remove them for production since they wouldn't do much.

    Re: Formatting XML

Thanks for the idea Frank. That along with PrettyFormatXml.xsl from Vincent's post made it almost trivial to do.

My need for this is to be able to add it to a log file when necessary so it needs to be unattended.

    Formatting XML

SaveXMLDocument saves XML to a single line of text without any formatting. It would be nice if there was a "beautify" option to format the output into a "human readable output" with CR/LF & proper...

Re: Logging XML Data for cWebservice

    Vincent,
Our Webapp application is a little odd in that it doesn't have any user visible web pages so I don't think this would work for us but thanks for sharing.

Re: Logging XML Data for cWebservice

Yes, that's my scenario, post going to production we needed to do some troubleshooting, to know exactly what was being sent to the vendor's URL.

Thanks for this Wil, exactly what I was searching for. And this begs the question of why DAW doesn't provide such hooks in the cClientWebService class? It would seem to be very useful for any...

    Odd error

I just downloaded and installed DFR-2024. I fired up the designer and converted the report, set up the various paths and all seemed to test correctly.

Then I compiled and ran the 19.1 report view...
