  1. Re: Odd one. DR7.0 randomly started crashing the entire application.

    Michael,

Seen both attachments. We will try to find the cause of the raw file command error, did not see that one yet in tests for HDE 3.0
  2. Re: Function in report footer: not the same result when used inside another function or printing

If you have a test case please create a HDE ticket and attach the report for review. Note we need to duplicate the situation.
  3. Re: Function in report footer: not the same result when used inside another function or printing

Internally the variable does not have a limited number of decimals. Formatting is what you use to change the way the number is presented.
  4. Re: Odd one. DR7.0 randomly started crashing the entire application.

    Michael,

Difficult to say what causes the GPF, don't think they way of how the OCX is loaded will make a difference. It is more a database / data issue. Have you checked if the database structure...
  5. Re: DatabaseMainType (DR7.0) and DatabaseType (DR6.2) and how it's used

    Rol,

There was indeed a bug in that code.

    Re: CodeDescription()-error

    Michael,

There is no paper or blog post.

    The help says:
dr.db is a SQLite database in which the repositories, label definitions and imported ELF functions are stored. The file needs to be...

    Re: SQL statement

    Wim,

Tried to duplicate this but it does not fail on me.

Please create a working example and HDE ticket.

    Re: sql()

    Wim,

Where did you put the function containing the SQL() statement?
  9. Re: How to copy RTF Text to a Memo Field of RDS Runtime Datasource

    Emil,

As alternative you could make use of import test data via JSON.

    Re: CodeDescription()-error

    Edgar,

The error has nothing to do with DF_COLLATE.CFG, possibily corrupted indexes.

It is inside the function. It could be the RutaData parameter that does not exist but more likely your...

Re: Can't use !i in strings

DataFlex isn't saying you cannot use the compiler variables in a string. It does not complain about something in a string, it is supporting it and needed in the language/compiler.

    For example if...
  12. Re: Rich Text Format and Runtime Datasource

    Emil,

Of course you can do that. Simply choose "Check Database" and see in case of RDS the table dialog(s) popping up.

Re: Can't use !i in strings

Yeah, but that is a complete other thing.

The <compilervar> (!<letter>[<letter>]) is part of the design and should work this way. It is not a bug or a design flaw.

    It is like complaining that...
  14. Re: Rich Text Format and Runtime Datasource

    Emil,

The RDS data-source column can be of the type MEMO and you can pass long strings from integration to the report
  15. Re: Resetting (or clearing) a view of all data?

    Guy,

If the controls (oNotes etc) are all DEOs they will be cleared when you send CLEAR to the DDO that is attached to the DEOs. If the controls are not database aware (e.g. plain FORM class...

    Re: vdf19.0 to vdf19.1 error

    Edgar,

The first error tells me that your code declares the function as global function as well and one should try to avoid using / declaring global functions as much as possible. So, to me,...

    Re: QRCode generator

    Emil.

Reports are (kind of) independent of whether they are used in / from a Web application or Windows GUI applications.

While the example creates a QR code using a RDS data-source it can be...
  18. Re: Resizing canvas but keeping image's dimensions

    Raveen,

Did not spend much time in this area yet so maybe in the future.
  19. Re: Suggestion: LoadThumbnail :: cImageContainer

    Raveen,

While we can add such a feature I don't see much need to this. The resize should IMHO be a ratio based resize.

PS: Note that there is a huge difference between resizing and making...

Re: Moving from 2.6 to 3.0

    Raveen,

The library 3.0 is the only library version supported with version 19.1. This means that a check is not really needed. You cannot/should not try to use the library of an older version with...

    Re: vdf19.0 to vdf19.1 error

Did you try to migrate the graphics library yourself? There was a time the external functions were declared in a .h file but certainly since the last couple of releases the file is now...
  23. Re: DF 19.1.58 Auto_Size_State & FontPointHeight

    Gleidson,

It looks like this might be the same as Michael Mullan reported (see https://support.dataaccess.com/Forums/showthread.php?65248-Textbox-Suggestion), do you agree with this?

    Re: QRCode generator

    Emil,

There is a QRCode example - using DataFlex Reports - in the weborder mobile workspace that comes with DataFlex 19.1.

You can set the value of the report data from a DataFlex application.
  25. Re: Not a current embedded Database table error 70

    Martin,

You get this error when the header of your table indicates a version other than 2.3, 3.0 or 4.0.

Solution (if persists); repair header via HDR file and Database Builder
