    Display_UI

    Is this deprecated? It doesn't appear in the help nowadays, though it still exists in Base_Data_Set and Data_List_Mixin, albeit without parameters.
  2. Re: cDbComboForm - a Better dbComboForm DataFlex Class

    thought I added something here but it has vanished.

    Raveen have you tried this in 19.1 (either version)?

    Re: 19.1.58 apparent bug

    unlikely. Unless it happens again. Output_pagecheck is so rare here I had to explain it.

    19.1.58 apparent bug

    happens in 19.1.56 and .58 but not 19.0
    13198

    In a Winreport2, which had a slightly odd index use, as in
    break on key 1 key 3
    worked in 19.0 but printed the subtotal after every line in 19.1

    Re: New build

    Despite my optimism the first attempt to install (after uninstall and reboot) failed, just froze, after about 10 minutes.

    Trying again tells me an installation is already in progress. :mad:

    Re: New build

    Dennis, serious question for the record. is the new version backwards compatible? ie: Can I start compiling and releasing 19.1.58 to the network programs folder and have desktops with 19.1.56 runtime...

    New build

    1. I don't go on vacay until next Thursday... :cool:

    2. We almost* finished rolling out 19.1 yesterday at 5pm, and this time we installed the client to the desktops, not the server... :(

  10. Re: The filelist.cfg is not where the workspace expects it to be

    yeah, I said in the OP that I suspect network issues, but with this beast being an ex-server it seems to have continuous refreshes of drivers so here's hoping one day it will magically cease.
  11. Re: Requested Operation requires Elevation. on 19.1

    My Google-fu is getting stronger :rolleyes::cool:

    Actually, it shouldn't be concomitant for DAW to post this in the help, but it might be worth adding to the bugtracker.
  12. Re: The filelist.cfg is not where the workspace expects it to be

    To answer you both, here's the .ws file in question

    [Workspace]
    Home=..\
    AppSrcPath=.\Appsrc
    AppHtmlPath=.\Apphtml
    BitmapPath=.\Bitmaps;..\..\BITMAPS...

    Not sure if this is related to Mike Cooper's issue, but this started a few weeks ago. Fully patched Windows 10 talking to PSQL on Windows 2008; and it can happen 4 or more times on the trot,...
  14. Re: Requested Operation requires Elevation. on 19.1

    I did, took a couple of compiles for it to 'stick' though.

    For anybody watching, in the manifest, replace

    with...

  16. Re: Requested Operation requires Elevation. on 19.1

    to answer all three of you. Not knowingly. Charlie has found at least one other program exhibiting the same. Both show the little UAC shield on the executable.

    I no longer write to the registry...
  17. Requested Operation requires Elevation. on 19.1

    As I get older I'm getting shorter, and less happy on ladders, so this is out of the question :cool: ..

  19. Re: error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

    didn't spot that, what with it being on line 34 :rolleyes:
  20. Re: error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

    STARzen indeed!

    missing quote was well back in the source so I didn't connect it. And Close CRNOTESA was the last line in the procedure. A certain perverse logic... :cool: thanks Mike
  21. Re: error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

    my first thought, but an inaccurate one. Thanks though.
  22. error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

    unchanged fd, unchanged program, then this, but there isn't a line 34. Even regenerated the FD using DBBuilder but no change. Ideas?

    A couple of suggestions for this wonderful tool.
