    Re: Can't Open Tables

Yes.. 99% are relative paths, but I don't think it makes a difference, because the paths are then translated to full paths.

Here are relative paths, except the Graphics Library.

    Re: Can't Open Tables

    Got it again... 4th time.

Is no one else seeing this?

As our app gets bigger and more libraries are added, this gets increasingly hard to resolve.

I continually try to make my path shorter...

    Re: Our times

I echo the same sentiments as others stated to everyone here.

Many people on this forum have been long time friends, both online and in person. And I welcome all of the newer generation of...

Re: String used as integer error

Even though the local variable is a string, for every numeric column the string value should be a numeric value and convert properly into the datatype for the column.

    Re: In Memory: Tony Mackay

I only met Tony once. I think it was in Carson City. I didn't know him well, but I do remember him as a very nice and friendly person.

My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Re: String used as integer error

This same method is used for all columns. String is the only data type that is capable of handling all types.

Are you actually getting an error here? If so, then it sounds like somewhere in your...

    DataFlex on GitHub

I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post, but it seemed the most fitting.

I have used GitHub for many, many, years now. One of my pet peeves is that GitHub displays my repos as written...

    Re: OT: Small Stuff

    Totally agree.

I could not write error free JavaScript without it.

I use VSCode for JavaScript. I have also used WebStorm, but it seems to run much slower... I have not used Atom.
  13. Re: Crystal Reports - SQL Security Problem

We created a SQL User called CrystalUser which has read only access to the table. Then in each report we set the credentials to this CrystalUser account.
  14. Re: SortArray sort string value with numbers

Yup. That is how I do it also.

    Re: DataTypeToJson Question

What about an array of objects? Shouldn't this still remove null members of the objects in an array?

For example, shouldn't the members shown in red below be removed by your function?

    Re: Legacy Code: Break Begin

"Break" is a valid command, but I'd say the "Begin" after it is invalid. Even if it does compile, I'd bet it is wrong.

  19. Re: cJsonObject "Member" method not working

Can someone from DAW chime in here and tell us what we can and cannot do with this class?
  20. Re: cJsonObject "Member" method not working

I need the object to be initialized as early as possible since I am using properties (in the object) to set the json values.

    For example:

    Class cToddJsonObject is a cJsonObject

    {...
  21. Re: cJsonObject "Member" method not working

    CAN'T SUBCLASS THEM? :(

If this is true, then it should be in the docs.

If this is true, then it is a HUGE disappointment.
  22. Re: cJsonObject "Member" method not working

I think I found the problem...

Looks like if you use the InitializeJsonType inside the Construct_Object or End_Construct_Object, it breaks the "Member" method.

    Try this

    Use Windows.pkg...
  23. Re: cJsonObject "Member" method not working

I am trying to make each node of the Json document be a little smarter about its contents, by making a property for each item that can be in the node.

This approach makes design-time code changes...
  24. Re: cJsonObject "Member" method not working

Ok, here is a full sample that illustrates the problem.
  25. Re: cJsonObject "Member" method not working

Hmmm... I will try to make a full code sample.
