    Re: Text Editor

I have a vague recollection that one exists, though I don't see if on my current machine.

I like Notepad++ cos I have a charmode compilation script that runs in it. With a 32 bit VM and notepad++...

    Re: #rem

thanks for the discussion, and background. It was mostly idle curiosity and a hangover from code transplanted from charmode.

    Re: #rem

it appeared in the prn files in charmode even with the noise turned down (and still does) so it's not yer regular slash-slash...
It doesn't seem to work in DF19.1 PRN files. no biggie.

    #rem

When did #REM go away? It's no longer in the help, but it doesn't seem to break anything. I suppose #warning works just as well.

Stuff brought over from Charmode has oodles of these but they...

    Nice work.

Should I ever get that far I hope I can find the link I just saved
  10. Re: Programs starts and exits immediately, until renamed, 19.1 and 20

that is certainly it, I replaced all amd64 there with X86 and everything seems to compile and run again. That solves 19.1, now let us see if 20/32 messes it up again

    Thanks for the speedy response...

    Re: Create Alias DD fails

incidentally KFUser was there, but KFUser1 doesn't get created. It isn't the first time I've found this flaky though I don't recall which files gave issues last time.

    Re: Create Alias DD fails

So do the full message but at the end, it doesn't need to stop and wait for user input. It isn't as if it's a 'keep going or stop here' message.

    Re: Create Alias DD fails

Trying a rebuild of the classlist.xml.

Why can't the below just be a one-line summary rather than forcing me to sit in front of the screen when I could be going for lunch?

    Create Alias DD fails

    Character mode Timer

Anybody using a Timer (in character mode) to display a message that then times out?
