    OK, Next Problem...

    So... I have these DFR (well VRW, actually) reports that are in DFR 2.1 format and I'm trying to convert them from using the embedded DB to MS SQL...

    Now in DFR 2.1 I if I try to change the tables...

    No active conditionals

    Am I right in thinking that Error 4324 - No active conditionals - is caused by something like a #ELSE or #ENDIF without a corresponding #IFwhatever?

    So TCP Dynamic ports = 0 and TCP Port = 1433? So... there are 4 sections... IP1, IP2, IP3 and IPAll - I have set those values (0 for TCP Dynamic Ports on IP1, IP2 and IP3 - it doesn't...

    I was using Windows auth, but I think I'll have to change to SQL Server Auth and set up a specific DataFlex account.

    Note: telnet to the IP address of the server and port 1433 does not connect, so that's probably why it can't connect to the DB, but the underlying question is why does telnet (or indeed anything) not...

    OK, nothing seems to be helping...

    DataFlex 19.1 on Windows Server 2019 Standard (server) and Windows 10 Pro (client). Now... the server in question is a Domain Controller and using that as a DB...
