    Re: Structure_End callback

    Hi Martin,

Have a look at DUF code - cDbUpdateFunctionLibrary.pkg. It is being used all over the place.
  2. Re: First impressions with the DataFlex 2020 Technical Preview

Aha, I see. I just followed the wizard when converting to SQL. Thanks.
  3. Re: First impressions with the DataFlex 2020 Technical Preview

    Hi Harm,

You mean that the steps outlined was not enough? You want more details? Note that I said I followed the documentation on changing labels to another language and what to test with Unicode...

  5. First impressions with the DataFlex 2020 Technical Preview

    Just a few first impressions during and after the initial installation of 2020 Technical Preview;

The installation incl IIS (checking) worked perfectly.

Question: I noticed the when the Studio...

    Hi Samuel,

Have you tried the Advanced Installer forum(s) ? Maybe there is some further info there to be found?

    Re: FlexCOM: Import ActiveX Control

    Hi Garret,

You can use COM Manifest Studio to compress your programs if you like. Makes them e.g. faster to load over the network.

  12. Re: Autofind same record after save routine?

    Hi,

    Set;
    Set Auto_Clear_DEO_State to False

It is a property of the DbView class. You'll find it under the Studio's "Properties panel - Data", when the DbView object has the focus.

    Re: New build

Yeah, I agree. I like the new installer a lot as well.

My only wish is that DAW would make use of the "automatic uninstall" feature of the Advanced Installer. With that feature the installer can...
  16. Re: error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

OK, I see. That is the most common reason for errors like that - but you probably knew that already :) Good hunting !
  17. Re: error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

Rouge .fd file in e.g. the Data folder?
  18. Re: "DF_FILE_ROOT_NAME" or "DF_FILE_LOGICAL_NAME"

Sorry, I missed the "Server 2019" bit. It does seem there is something strange going on with this (rather) new OS.

I have it installed as a Vm-machine but haven't seen it there - but then there...
  19. Re: "DF_FILE_ROOT_NAME" or "DF_FILE_LOGICAL_NAME"

DUF - "The Database Update Framework" uses both of these extensively and I'm pretty sure they are always retrieved from the Filelist.cfg.

  22. Re: Anyone interested - 2 values multiplied with result rounded up or down, plus more

OK, no worries. I took a new copy from the code above. Thanks.
  23. Re: Anyone interested - 2 values multiplied with result rounded up or down, plus more

    Done, thanks!
  24. Re: Anyone interested - 2 values multiplied with result rounded up or down, plus more

I bet there are developers that have use for it, but perhaps they just don't post a message about it.

I definitely see a use for it and have tucked it away in a "safe place" :)
  25. Re: Anyone interested - 2 values multiplied with result rounded up or down, plus more
