  1. Re: Basic sample of Google Chart working with Dataflex WebApp

Although I am isolated I am doing more or less what I am supposed to do. But you are making it very difficult with this great example

It will definitely be a hard time for a lot of people. First of all for the people who get infected. Our country isn't completely locked down, but the measures will be much strickter. We are in the...

Re: Will DataFlex work with OneDrive?

It might work when you use SQL Server as a database on it. Shared files is asking for trouble.

    Re: Uncompress GZipStream

I will look into it. At the moment I just can decompress the stream into a XML string without creating a folder. I will have to see if it is reliable or not. (I am not interested in files, only in...

    Uncompress GZipStream

I am testing with a webservice, that returns a value with GZipStream compression. When I copy the value from the debugger into a online service I can decompress it to XML.

    I have tried several...
  7. Re: Virtual Print Engine (VPE) and Unicode

    Hi Edgar,

An older version of the VPE Library is based on Winprint commands. So if you really want it you can stick to these basic functions.

    Re: Dr 8 - news

    Hi Edgar,

It wasn't a misinterpretation. While DAW is doing a big effort on 64-bit and Unicode you can't expect too much on other issues.

    Re: Dr 8 - news

    Hi Edgar,

At least I expect support for Unicode. For me this is very important. We need to create invoices and documents for Russia, China and Japan.

    Re: 2020 Driver question

For one of my current projects at Global Blue in Austria it would be great if we could support both SQL Server and Pervasive.SQL with Unicode.
  12. Re: DR 7 managed connection 2 database and SQL()

    Hi Wim,

You can create an alias in one database for a table or view in the other database. This is the easiest way to solve it.
  13. Re: 405 - HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed

    Pieter,

You didn't response on the suggestion of Michael Salzlechner. Did you really updated or set the 'Handler Mappings' settings of your virtual directory? Can you post a screenshot? I once...

    Hi Stephen,

Thanks that it is solved. I will check it one of these days.
  15. Re: Can we have a Folder selector dialog for Next Gen?

Yes, you need Codejock.Controls.Unicode.v18.3.0.ocx (or other version) for this. If DAW has a license for it, it would be great.
  16. Re: How does dataflex handle special characters

I don't exactly know what you mean by this. Did you migrate the database too? Do you use the embedded database or MSSQL with ANSI? If there is somewhere a OEM/ANSI translation, than you will loose...
  17. Re: How does dataflex handle special characters

    Hi John,

This is most probably a OEM / ANSI issue. On this page you can see what the OEM character for 232 is: "Φ". See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_page_437. In Windows ANSI it is indeed a...

    Re: MSSQL DateTime DateTime2

    Hi Peter,

I only use DateTime2. In MSSQL the datatype is DataTime2(0). If you want another precision you can change it easily in the SQL Server Management Studio.

  21. Re: MS-SQL Collation, Latin1_General_CI_AS, DF_Collate.cfg & String Comparison

    Hi Clive,

The collating sequences starting with "SQL_" are used for compatibility and it is a "feature" that they ignore the "-" in indexes. So probably Latin1_General_CI_AS works better (if you...
