  1. Re: Do I need a service, or would something simpler suffice - Part 2

    I would just add a check for the BOS-program and restart the app. That would be roughly like this.

    New 'LoopIt'

    Procedure Loopit
    Boolean bShouldBeRunning bCheck
    Integer iCount
    ...
  2. Re: Do I need a service, or would something simpler suffice

    This is the most basic way I know of to do it. Start it with task scheduler. for the example I did put it all in one file, normally I would have the dialog in a separated file.

    This way you have...

    Re: WebApp designer not working

    The dialog is fine. Maybe check the Problem Resolution Panel.
  4. Re: FilpSwitch CheckBox in Material Theme - Does not looks good

    You can fiddle a bit to make it how you like it. See example code. Checkboxes have been 'interesting' for me. They seem to look different in every browsers, maybe depending on where exactly you use...

    Re: Shared WEB Development!

    If you have only one person compiling the webapp.exe, you could work with a setup like you describe. You'll have to use the server IIS though, not local.

    And as others point out. The way to go is...
  6. Re: Webmobile app, show cart and badge with items

    The quickest, most lazy way to do it is with CSS.

    Add this to your application.css

    .WebButton.badge{position: relative;}
    .WebButton.badge:after {
    font-size: 15px;
    background:...
  7. Re: Field Values not Getting constraints

    You need to do a 'send rebuild_contraint of oMy_DD' after you set the (web) properties. Maybe before the run_report.
  8. Re: What is the equivalent of the End_Of_Data command on a cWebEdit object?

    This is indeed something I would do with a windows-program, not with web. You could use web the show some information or start some actions,b ut for the basic communication with COM, a windows...
  9. Re: Sending email from within a DF Winapp and a DF Webapp

    I indeed would use a maximum try counter and a [sleep 1] between each try.
  10. Re: What is the equivalent of the End_Of_Data command on a cWebEdit object?

    Yeah, in my mind you were asking about grids/lists. I wasn't really aware of things like 'end_of_data' in an edit object and would probably make different choices.

    Anyway, just google some...

    You can put those error codes in google. This seems one of the most obvious hits:...
  12. Re: What is the equivalent of the End_Of_Data command on a cWebEdit object?

    If you manually fill the list, you can use 'Send Gridrefresh'.

    It is from SQL.

    Re: Vertical Buttons ina webGrid

    Without code or a link, it is hard to tell what is going on. You need to be at the parent-container though, not at the buttons themselves.

    Re: sql/date Filter

    Have seen using YYYY-MM-DD go wrong on certain databases. Nowadays I use DateFromParts(2019,06,19). You could also use 'convert'. Admittedly, YYYY-MM-DD will work just fine most of the time.
  18. Re: Filter not working in DBExplorer

    For me it works if you leave the value-column empty. So do not put quotes in it.

    (I was referring to SQL-filters in my other posts, but the screenshot show you are not using that)
  19. Re: Filter not working in DBExplorer

    No quirks, should work. Make sure the checkbox 'SQL filter' is actually checked.(if that is what you are using)

    Re: Vertical Buttons ina webGrid

    You need to be at the container containing the buttons. The very lazy way to do it would be something like below. It might have some side-effects though.

    td.WebColBtn{...
  21. Re: modifying the delimiter for a .txt file

    You could do it in that or a similar way. If the file indeed is big you are way better of to use readln - and do it line by line - compared to a read_block. The reason is that string-operations are...

    Re: Dot notation

    In my mind it goes like this:

    sSomeVariabele = oOtherObject.oSomeObject.psSomeProperty

    iError = oCustomer_DD.requestValidate
    If (not(iError)) oCustomer_DD.RequestSave
  23. Re: modifying the delimiter for a .txt file

    Pseudo code like this could work.

    Set_argument_size to iSomethingBig
    Direct_input channel 3 'c:\temp\myfile.txt'
    read_block channel 3 sCOntent -1
    close_output channel 3
    Move (replaces("',",...
  24. Re: Question about working with Git And Dataflex

    Will,

    Thank you for your time and answer. Point 1 and 2 seems unlikely, but 3 seems plausible.
