    Re: Server 2016 issues

    LOL, thanks Andrew. Yes exactly.

    This is how a seemingly simple answer is still easily misunderstood. I thought I had said it in the most easy way, but it turns out that it still is open to...

    Re: Server 2016 issues

    Javier,

    That's not exactly what I meant.

    If your users are accessing the application locally via RDP and your data is at that same server, but the data files are accessed via a network share...
  4. Re: 2 clients running same VDF app on same VM under win10

    Focus,

    Windows doesn't show the current folder when you run this either:

    echo %PATH%

    It does however still execute ANYTHING from that folder, including finding DLL's and other files....
  5. Re: 2 clients running same VDF app on same VM under win10

    Andrew,

    The Start In setting changes the current directory.

    Easy to test, compile the following program:

    Use Windows.pkg

    Re: Server 2016 issues

    Somebody call my name? :p

    SMB is still used if you access your data files via a share, even if that share is local. So it might be a factor still.
    But there can be so many factors that it is hard...

    Re: CSS zoom out

    Hi Leif,

    You can try to use transform:

    <style>
    html, body{
    height: 100%;
    }
  9. Re: cDbCJGrid - How to stop the next line executing.

    Rachael,

    It's not a bug, at least not a DataFlex one. If you want to classify it that way then blame Microsoft.

    It is because you are invoking an application that has a tabbed interface built...
  10. Re: DFRefactor 20190426: Reindent function mess up my file

    Hi Jose,

    Yeah I can reproduce it with your code example.

    Not seeing anything wrong at your code.
    The code collapse logic appears to work correctly as well, so it appears to be specifically in...

    Thanks Nils!

    Shit happens.
    Both our releases are just there as a courtesy for the users in order to easily get the latest sanctioned versions.

  14. Re: DFRefactor 20190426: Unused local variables curiosity

    Hi,

    I logged this: https://projects.vdf-guidance.com/issues/159

    But we might not patch it as it isn't valid code IMO, even while it compiles.
    Then again, it is never nice when things break...

    Hi Jose,

    Is it possible that you email me one of those packages so that I can inspect what is happening?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Leon I'm not quite following how you can get these issues with the code from the posted zip.
    Did you unzip it on top of the old code and forgot to recompile perhaps?

    Re: paXML and OEM encoding gotcha

    Frank,

    Isn't this because your direct_output isn't writing in binary mode?

    Eg.

    Direct_Output "binary: RawAddress.xml"
  18. Re: DFRefactor 3.1.0: IN -> Contains function broke Insert command

    Hi Jose,

    Thanks for the report.
    AFAIK the "in" to "contains" refactor option has been disabled in the latest zip release.
