  1. Re: error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

didn't spot that, what with it being on line 34
  2. Re: error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

    STARzen indeed!

missing quote was well back in the source so I didn't connect it. And Close CRNOTESA was the last line in the procedure. A certain perverse logic... thanks Mike
  3. Re: error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

my first thought, but an inaccurate one. Thanks though.
  4. error 4320 ...\CRNOTESA.FD (ln 34) Missing Argument 34 Huh?

unchanged fd, unchanged program, then this, but there isn't a line 34. Even regenerated the FD using DBBuilder but no change. Ideas?

    Thanks, Wil,

    DFRefactor

A couple of suggestions for this wonderful tool.
    1. Can you colour the icon using the DAW orange? Helps keep it visually together with my versions of Studio and DR. (I know, it's in the tools menu...

is +1 an appropriate response or a disagreement?
  9. Re: OT: Best and of the worst developer comments

true dat. It also means it was 1990s me.

My language is much more 'industrial' and inflammatory now...
  10. Re: OT: Best and of the worst developer comments

not in the same class, but I thought I'd responded to this already, but doing a find-in-files looking for something else I found an apology in an 1990's version of our POS.

    In a calculation to...

I agree with Garrett, great initiative DAW.

    Re: Blocking F2 saves

Thanks for all the suggestions. This is marked 'closed' for me. Michael S's note about killing F2 etc in subclasses would normally be the way to go, but this is a one-off for a single program and...

    Re: Blocking F2 saves

me too, this time I scattered it everywhere but I didn't put it in each dbform. As Michael suggests there's probably a save built in to that class which is getting resolved first. Very old dog to be...

    Re: Blocking F2 saves

That's actually where I was before I started adding the good stuff handling the screen post-save. I might take a step back on this and look at that again.

What's a menubar? Thanks for both ideas, but I'm strictly SDI and don't use the menubar etc in 99% of our system.

    Blocking F2 saves

Trying to force users to use a Button to save, rather than F2, but on_key kSaverecord and on_key key_f2 donít seem to block the regular save. Is there something else I have to block too?
