Joseph,
That error usually happens if the AV system doesn't like the webapp.exe and quarantines it.
I've never seen this and have searched my emails and the forums and don't see any other references.
Is there anything that has happened recently (either to the codebase or environment) that...
Bob,
This seems to be a bug that's been around for a while. There are older threads (involving you - you've been bit by this a couple of times in the past) that determined that you have to set...
Samuel,
Completely understood your intent and no offense taken. Just adding additional perspective because that can be useful for the large number of developers that visit the forums but aren't...
I rest my case...
I can see where you might think that, and to be honest that sentiment is more applicable to the source of our tools - the stuff that doesn't get published - than the overall language and frameworks. ...
Mike,
Actually, we did what we said (and fully expected you to do) - which is that the system is designed so developers can turn compiler warnings off (and back on - or not) when and as desired.
Nick,
Perhaps this is something that using the Web Data Dictionary Inspector could point you in the right direction.
Nice job Frank!
Peter,
Recently? Any way to reproduce?
Ian,
I tried to reproduce this and could not. I used the same test view you attached earlier and typed in the enum list as you show it and saved the test view. I then opened and followed your...
Ian,
Notepad++ shows a NUL character at the end of that line. Once removed, the Studio models the view without error.
Do you know how or why the NUL was created? I see references to Notepad++...
Hi Emil,
I looked up your serial number and could register it with 20.1 just fine. If you are getting a "can't find product installed" error, you are probably using the 20.0 code for that license...
Emil,
If you email me your serial number I can look into it.
Emil,
Just use the "Register DataFlex" option on the Windows Start Menu. Register.exe is in both Bin and Bin64.
BTW, when you ran from the Help menu, it was just running the same register.exe.
Sam,
Never done this, but found these instructions on StackOverflow...

I see the same thing! Thank goodness they finally got around to making the change. Of course, it has worked in the insider preview all along, but oh well
Have a great weekend!
That was my point
Even more so, that poor communication (at any level) leads to, well...
Jim,
Are you selecting a workspace and then opening the table, or using Open As?

Glad to be of assistance. AV heuristics and actions are dark arts...
The workspace is incomplete (and also seems to have a bunch of stuff that isn't germain to the issue at all). I tried opening the eOscar.sws file and got a "filelist is not where expected" error....
