    The MAC address belongs to the network card not the computer so many will have more than one

    You can use this command prompt command to get a CSV of the info and then read it in

    GETMAC /fo csv...

    As a side note you can only ByRef one "level" i.e. what you are passing to a method must be a local variable otherwise strangeness occurs

    The UChar[] elements are numbers. If you convert it to a string then use ascii() on each char to convert it back to a number but as i say the UChar is an array of byte values in the first place you...

    Yep here on the BBC they say no restrictions 1 person would infect 2.5 people would mean 406 in a month from that one person as source. If one person only infects 1.25 people it's only 15 in the month

    OK the forecolor then. It currently set the forecolour to the widows button text but you should be able set it to any RGB value



    Move (SetTextColor(tDrawItem.hDC, GetSysColor(COLOR_BTNTEXT)))...

    So long as you don't need it to run in an unattended background process I would just automate Excel with COM

    Apart from some scrambled egg to get connected to excel just call ComItem of the Range...

    How "complicated" is the data you are outputting ? Is it effectively just a CSV in excel format ?

    Couldn't you do the whole thing with COM ?

    XLSX files are just zip files containing xml files...

    Not 100% sure probably 2010 / Office 14.0

    The Range object has always been letters and the Cell property of the Range object which returns a Range...

    Note the FieldInfo (about 4 from the end) that I have not used takes XlColumnDataType which says how it should be parsed which might be of use to you as one of them is Text
