    Re: Df/mysql

And keep in mind that if you're using embedded SQL and/or stored procedures or functions in MySQL that there are significant syntax differences between MySQL and MSSQL.

Re: Duplicated records in a dbGrid

I was just informed by the customer that they have seen the problem in yet another view with a grid, this one is the only view in the application that has a cjDbGrid so that would seem to rule out...

Re: Duplicated records in a dbGrid

I'm aware of the found indicator issue, worked around it many times, don't think it's a problem here

Re: Duplicated records in a dbGrid

I don't think the found indicator would be a problem, the previous programmer was pretty conscientious about using a boolean if that possibility existed. Of course any thing is possible. Worth a...

Re: Duplicated records in a dbGrid

No finds are done in that function, more for just populating some properties and concatenating some data

Re: Duplicated records in a dbGrid

Yes, the circled data is incorrect, the first column is correct. I've never been able to duplicate it so am a bit unclear if there are any other columns that are correct.

    Duplicated records in a dbGrid

DF-19, Postgres SQL, Win-10. An odd occurrence has cropped up at a customer site. We have a dbTabView and when the user goes to the 3rd tab where a dbGrid is shown and populated at that time from...
  9. Re: Question: How to stop (db)Views from closing just because the user presses the Escape key in the form ?

    Raveen,
We just went through this and sorry to say I don't think that there's an easy answer. In order to stop that behavior I had to intercept the escape key everywhere and it was a pain. ...

  12. Re: modifying the delimiter for a .txt file

What you can do is in your stored procedure, first extract the data you want to put into the text file into a MSSQL temp table, clean up the commas in that table by replacing them with "", a space or...

    Re: cTextEdit/cDBTextEdit bug

I just ran into this bug and the funny thing is that enabled_state seems to work when the cTextEdit object is in a modal dialog. I haven't tested this anywhere but in my application though.

    More Postgres grief

DF-19.0, Mertech driver. I wish DF played more nicely when modifying SQL tables that don't allow for inserts. Postgres is one of those databases that only allows appending new columns, no inserts...

Re: SelStart in a Text Field

    Hi Wil,
Thanks for reminding me about that. Back in the day you could even Get Value Item x and get just the one line value from an edit object but that doesn't work for the cTextEdit object....
