Re: Migratet 9.1 Web to 20.1

I understand. It is also mentioned in the doc in several places.

We'll discuss it internally to see if it should be public and documented better.

    Re: VPE Library/Packages issues.

It's too short a word, vBulletin has a 4 character limit. I'll try to add it as an exception. I found it via Google search.

    Re: Studio crashing

I wonder if it has to do with the files in the IdeSrc folder. Most of these are tied to your Windows user, so creating a new user account would create a new set of these. Next time, try closing the...

    Re: Errors creating Alias Table

    Hi Ben,

I looked at the Studio code for these errors and they are a bit non-specific. The first error happens after it tries to load the DD and can't model it (for any reason).

    Can you post or...

Re: Global subclass errors on upgrade

    Hi John,

we moved some of the older classes that are no longer supported out of DfAllEnt.pkg and into OldDfAllEnt.pkg, so that they won't be compiled into every project.

    So just change 'Use...
  15. Re: Reset Tab Page After Clear of Main File

Yes, you should add that. I had to in my code, as well, but I forgot to add that to my reply. So it should be:

    Forward Send RequestClearExec
    Send Show of...
  16. Re: Reset Tab Page After Clear of Main File

  17. Re: WriteFileFromVariantStr beyond Argument_Size limit !?

    Hi Samuel,

it does sound like the help was wrong in 19.1.

To clarify for all readers: we removed all references to argument_size in 20.1, when argument_size was removed from the language. The...

  22. Re: Funny, weird not standard but does give problems

Well on my PC, the date shows as 11/03/2022. I don't even see how I could set the Windows setting to a date separator to 0 or the date format to "dd MM yyyy", it's not an option in my settings.
